This Sunday I decided to go with a snippet featuring Richie and Tommy Ray from "Laid to Rest." Darlene has enlisted their help in sneaking the mayor's body home. Tomorrow, Richie and Tommy Ray are being interviewed on Veronica Scott's blog. Be sure to stop by and say hello to the guys. You might win a $10 Amazon gift card! I'll post the link in the morning.
Here's the snippet that starts out with Richie complaining to Darlene.
“You never said nothing about putting clothes on a dead man. That’s a job for the undertaker and I ain’t no undertaker.”
Curious, Tommy Ray edged closer to the bed. “We’ve done worse things.”
“Not that I can recollect,” Richie responded as he gave the mayor’s body a fearful glance. “My pappy always said the dead don’t bring nothing but bad luck.”

That's quite a situation. Wonder how they'll get out of it.
I don't even want to think about how they are ultimately going to explain this.

Am curious how the Mayor 'got dead' in the first place.
