"Heaven is where you'll be when you are okay right where you are" ~ Unknown.

There is such great truth in this statement. It is something you should ask of your characters. Are any of them okay right where they are in your story? Unlikely. So, what it would it take for them to be okay right where they are? Whatever the answer, that should be on your character's list of goals.
