One of my Black Friday purchases included a copy of Wonder Woman. I love this movie! Now, I was never a fan of the TV series, Wonder Woman, or any of the other television superheroes series. But the movies, especially the Avenger series, have been great. I was still skeptical about Wonder Woman but the reviews were great so I decided to watch it. I was shocked! It was such a wonderful story about Diana, who was raised by Amazons on an island far away from the reality, until one day a war pilot crashes into Diana's world and everything changes. A romance develops that is humorous and touching. Plus there is plenty of adventure in WWII Europe. Gal Gadot really made this movie. She brought the needed innocence to Diana's character who has lived a sheltered life and thinks she can destroy evil and bring happiness to the world. Chris Pine is the adorable hero who falls in love with her. I rate it 5 stars because of the humor, light romance, and the wonderful heroine.
