They say to write what you know. Okay, so once I wrote a story about a yard sale, featuring a cast of wacky Southerners, Jennifer, Buddy, and Gail, plus others. Some of which were based on my family. Plus many of the shoppers from Earlybirds to Packrats relate back to my own yard sales. But Prince Charming never showed up at mine. 😍
Anyway, I scheduled the story to be free from today thru Sat in honor of the month when yard sales start popping up in my town. "The Yard Sale" has always been my most popular story and today the story made itself a new record by being number 1 in 3 of Amazon's top 100 free categories. Jennifer, Buddy, and Gail are rocking it. Woot!
